Our Story

In 2002, Kizito just rounded up an MBA programme in Marketing with the University of Nigeria and commenced work as a Senior Analyst in a Management Consulting and Financial Advisory firm in Lagos. He had a good career in consulting and rose to the position of a Director in the firm. Always the entrepreneur, Kizito was continuously looking out for opportunities to set up a vibrant business where he will advise and at the same time be involved in the execution.

One day, he visited a friend at Cadbury who complained that his suppliers have not been able to get a specific type of face cap for him for over a month. Kizito asked to see the cap, took a picture and sent it to a staff managing an office he had earlier set up in China in 2001. Two days later, he received a replica of the cap in Lagos.  He knew then that he was on to something great.

Every company we discussed with was unhappy with their current supplier of promotional and marketing materials in some way. All of the companies that we competed against were exactly the same…commissioned reps just hustling to try and make a sale!” This realization brought about a revolutionary idea to create an ‘agency’ approach to the business. Individual account teams could provide a much better long-term approach to satisfying a client’s true needs rather than just quick product sales. That was the birth of Al-Khezai.

Over the past 8 years, our focused approach to business has resulted in Al-Khezai being one of the fastest growing and most successful promotional product company in Nigeria. This can be evidenced by the number of satisfied clients and successful projects we have undertaken for our clients and the myriads of awards we have received globally.
